Support on setting up a Volunteer-led community group in Thanet
Please see our DBS leaflet (above) and please read the information below about the identification you need to bring with you.
We aim to process DBS checks on a Tuesday morning between 10.30-12.00. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01843 590935 and leave a message to book an appointment.
Standard DBS checks cost £26 and Enhanced cost £44 and we charge a £15 administration fee. Volunteer checks are free and cost only the £15 administration fee. You can pay by cash, cheque or electronic transfer.

Route 1 is the simplest: The following three – Passport, birth certificate, drivers licence – At least one of the documents must show your current address.
Please make sure you have the following information with you (no paperwork needed).
Addresses: Please make sure you know the dates you arrived and left (MM/YYYY) and the details of the addresses you have lived for the last 5 years.
Name changes: Please make sure you know the dates to (MM/YYYY) and from (MM/YYYY) for any name changes.
National Insurance: Bring something official with your National Insurance Number on it. It doesn’t have to be your National Insurance card. If you know your number but don’t have any paperwork, this will also be fine.
