Shaw Trust is a charity helping to transform the lives of young people and adults across the UK and internationally.

Our specialist services help people gain an education, enter work, develop their career, improve their wellbeing or rebuild their lives. As a charity we add value to every service we deliver by investing back into the people and communities we support.

Our Purpose:

Shaw Trust’s purpose is to help one million people transform their lives each year.

Our Values:
•We care about people

We support our staff and people we work with to realise their potential and
transform their lives.

•We make a difference

Making a lasting positive impact for the people we support is the reason we exist. We deliver high performance across our services, helping people to transform their lives.

•We are inclusive

We value the ideas, views and strengths of everyone we work with and support. Everybody is different and everybody is equal.

•We are collaborative

Working together is more effective and efficient. We believe that by working together with a range of partners we create better services and solutions.

•We are honest

We are authentic, accountable and transparent in all we do.

Volunteer with Shaw Trust and help create brighter futures for people in your community.

Shaw Trust provides employment opportunities, skills development training, and health and wellbeing services across the UK. We operate charitable social enterprises and retail shops, and work alongside Shaw Education Trust, which runs a diverse chain of academy schools.

We add value to every service we deliver by investing back into community projects, such as our social enterprises, Community Hubs and national volunteering scheme.

Volunteers help us achieve our aim of empowering people and supporting them towards employment and/or helping with their mental health and wellbeing. They also help in our schools and Social Enterprises and they help us run our charity shops too.

Shaw Trust volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.
